The journey of little steps.

Where did we begin?

Our Little Steps journal is based on the principle of Kaizen - a Japanese concept of continuous improvement. This concept has been used in both personal and professional settings for a number of years. The Continuous improvement methodology hinges on four concrete phases: plan, do, check, and act. This is sometimes called the plan-do-check-act cycle or PDCA cycle, and it reveals the guiding principles of continuous improvement.

We emphasise the PDCA cycle in our journal by creating prompts to plan, prompts to do, prompts to check, and prompts to act. We believe by taking small, consistent steps, we can create lasting positive change in children's lives. As the author and creator of this journal, my hope is to inspire parents and create a ripple effect of positive change in our communities and beyond. Nurturing good habits in kids is crucial to their future success and happiness, as well as the future of South Africa

Join us on this journey of progress and transformation, one little step at a time.
